Dr. B (as her patients call her) graduated from LSU Health Sciences Center with an MD in Pediatrics in 2014. During residency, Dr.Boggarapu mentored several medical students and residents and nursing students. She was engaged in didactic sessions, including Grand Rounds required as part of graduation curriculum. Soon after residency Dr.Boggarapu moved to Minot, ND where she worked in an inpatient and outpatient facility. She was on affiliate staff with University of North Dakota Medical School, where again, she taught medical students for weekly didactics and mentored UND Family Medicine residents. Dr.Boggarapu developed extensive experience with both inpatient and out patient aspects of pediatrics during this time, including emergent/urgent care. She also got married to her husband and had their first child in North Dakota. Dr.Boggarapu relocated to San Antonio and has been working outpatient private clinic for past few years and decided to open her own practice.
Dr. Boggarapu takes pride in working with families, building trust, and caring for their children. As a pediatrician, she finds fulfillment in being available for families when they are in need, and for parents in particular when they need advice on navigating the challenges of raising those families. Dr. Boggarapu and her husband, who is Major in the USAF, have a young daughter, making her keenly aware of the particular needs and concerns of parents and families. Together with her own family, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and engaging in new activities with their daughter. Dr. Boggarapu’s other personal hobbies include painting, music, and spending time with extended family and friends. Her family has established roots in Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne and they look forward to raising their daughter here as Dr. Boggarapu continues to care for the families of our community.
